At ABC, membership isn’t merelyshowing up once a month. We’ve built in time-saving features that connect you quickly with many great members, so you can spend far less time searching and more time collaborating, getting and giving referrals in a no-pressure manner
Our community is a supportive network of solopreneurs, small business owners, non-profits, and larger businesses — each bringing their own perspective and experience to the circle.
To make connections even stronger, we host optional after-meeting breakfasts at a nearby restaurant right after our monthly gatherings- you can immediately start developing referrals, collaborations, and partnerships without taking more of your precious time. These informal meetups give members a chance to sit down, share a meal, and build personal relationships beyond the group setting.

Membership Details
The Asheville Business Collaborative (ABC) is built on a framework of effectiveness, heart, and integrity. Our set-up reflects those values in multiple dimensions — simple, transparent, and designed to honor both individual sovereignty and collective strength. 90 minutes once a month is all that’s required- but you might just choose to have 12 hours or more to connect with some great people here!
Step 1: Interview
Membership begins with an in-depth, careful interview process to ensure each person is a strong fit for ABC’s culture. The interview carries a $50 non-refundable fee.
Step 2: Enrollment Fee
Upon acceptance, new members contribute a $90 enrollment fee. This initiates your place in the Collaborative and establishes your commitment to the circle.
Step 3: Annual Membership
Beginning in 2026, the annual membership fee will be $600. This supports the continuity of ABC, covers the minimal organizational expenses, and sustains the goodwill and coherence of the network.
Looking beyond 2026, we acknowledge that the financial world is shifting rapidly. Even the most brilliant financial forecasters admit to profound uncertainty about what lies ahead. For that reason, ABC will revisit membership fees each year, guided by the same principles that shape our network: effectiveness, heart, and integrity. Our commitment is that fees will remain fair, transparent, and aligned with the well-being of our members and the larger community.

No. The fee is non-refundable, even if your application isn’t approved. This helps us keep the group selective and focused.

Yes, you may cancel anytime. Membership is billed annually, and if you choose to cancel before the end of your term, your remaining balance will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The one-time enrollment fee is not refundable.
